How our cloud storage comparisons are calculated
Comparison data is based on publicly available consumer plan pages and policy documentation. Prices were last reviewed on 23 August 2026.
Price and capacity method
If a provider publishes an exact plan for the selected capacity, the calculator shows that monthly list price. Otherwise it estimates the least expensive coverage available from published smaller plans and labels it as an estimated price. The interface does not expose confusing multiplication formulas.

Feature and policy method
An E2E check means files are encrypted on the client and the provider does not hold the keys needed to decrypt their contents. TLS and provider-managed encryption at rest do not qualify on their own. We distinguish included E2EE from optional settings, paid add-ons and business-only products; account and service metadata may still be visible.

Why are some prices approximate?
Not every provider sells every selected capacity. An approximate price shows the cheapest coverage we can derive from the provider’s published smaller plans.
How often is the comparison reviewed?
We review the source pages when the comparison data changes and publish the review date. Provider prices can still change between reviews.
